- PARK OPERATOR / PARK MANAGER
As executive park operator / Park manager from the head office, you are locally responsible for one of our holiday parks on an operational and executive level.
Within this position, you provide local operational leadership and direction at one of our holiday parks. You are the direct point of contact for the staff whose holiday parks vary in size, complexity and turnover. You stimulate and facilitate optimal cooperation between the technical staff such as the technical service, landscaping, and cleaning, but also the cooperation with for example the reception and other staff in order to provide optimal service to our guests and owners.
As park manager you and your team are responsible for the daily operations, the appearance of the holiday park, and an optimal experience for our guests and owners. You will also be responsible for the financial results of the park, managing and supervising all employees, solving emergencies and drawing up a maintenance plan together with our partners. What will you be doing exactly?
Be responsible for all results at the park (both in terms of finances and guest experience). Ensuring that the resort looks like a Beach Resorts all year round. Ensuring an optimal experience for our guests. Managing, supervising and being the direct point of contact for all employees at the park. In cooperation with the Team leader technical service and the operational manager from the group, you will be involved in optimizing the maintenance plan and the budget of the park, such as financial possibilities and expenses. Taking care of personnel planning, time accounting, personnel management and personnel administration. Efficiently deploying personnel and developing efficient improvements that contribute to the progress of the park and its appearance in accordance with the Beach Resorts concept. In addition, you monitor the internal processes of the development plan and make optimal use of our digital systems, such as checking invoices and managing complaints. You supervise the organization of adequate handling of malfunctions, problems or urgent matters and you help the team to improve in this regard. If necessary, you must be able to mediate in disputes and disturbances in the park, or in complaints from owners and guests. You are the face of one of the Beach Resorts parks and therefore always looking for quality improvements and possibilities.
Furthermore, as a central point of contact, you take care of the internal communication between the staff and the head office and you make the translation of the Beach Resorts brand together with the operational manager of the group. In addition, you create a pleasant open working atmosphere through situational leadership. With your experience, you know how to create a positive and productive environment where everyone can get the best out of themselves. You are decisive in your actions, adjust when necessary and do not shy away from a possibly unpopular decision. Furthermore, you evaluate the results per park on a regular basis and discuss them, together with the employees and also within the management, in a monthly operations meeting. In addition, you have final responsibility within the region for certain sub-areas, such as the use of hours, wages and general costs.
