At Beach Resort Makkum you'll stay right by the IJsselmeer. Our accommodations are suitable for up to 10 persons and equipped with all modern conveniences. Some of our vacation homes feature a jetty where you can moor your boat. Through our location right by the IJsselmeer, you can immediately explore the varied area by boat. Besides a jetty, some vacation homes also feature luxurious wellness facilities such as a sauna or whirlpool for that little bit of extra relaxation. Discover the varied Friesland area

You are invited to explore the beautiful and varied nature of Friesland. You can moor your own boat at the jetty, but also rent a boat at our rental center. You can sail straight onto the IJsselmeer from your luxurious vacation home to admire the beautiful forests and fields from the water. But this area is also highly suitable for a hike or cycling tour. Explore nature reserve het Makkumersudwaard, or visit the quaint town center of Makkum, which features lots of fun stores and great dining options.
